Magnolia Group Provides Holistic Weight Loss Program
Magnolia Group Health & Wellness Center, a newly established integrative medicine clinic in Pewaukee, is featuring a specialized weight-loss program beginning in January. The regimen will incorporate holistic and conventional medicine modalities that include wellness coaching, cleansing, acupuncture, massage, advanced energy therapy and 3-D movement training.
Elise Trasser, the clinic’s owner and a holistic health practitioner, leads Magnolia’s team. Co-creators of the weight-loss program are Holistic Occupational Therapist Donna Abler, Licensed Massage Therapist Anita Krier and Licensed Massage Therapist Mary Beth Rezek.
According to Trasser, weight management stress and obesity issues have not trended down. She cites a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that estimates 97 million adults, more than half of the adult population in the United States, are overweight or obese. Effectively addressing excessive weight with holistic health approaches may lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, regulate blood sugar, improve circulation and increase energy and vitality.
