Holistic Health Coach Joins The Colour Bowl Salon
Spark Wellness Solutions has joined the team at The Colour Bowl Salon and Wellness Spa. Spark owner Dana Kowalewski is a certified holistic health coach who specializes in teaching women how to avoid diets for life with an easy to implement natural, whole foods approach. She will lead a complementary workshop about how to get control of cravings for sweets without feeling deprived, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., July 16.
The class provides insight into the reasons that people crave sweets, as well as information about how sugar can destroy cells and interfere with the body’s functions. Kowalewski demonstrates how to increase energy naturally instead of relying on sugar and caffeine. With her recipes for desserts that are low in sugar but high in taste, attendees will learn how getting off the sugar rollercoaster can be simple and enhance their health.
Kowalewski received her training through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She offers individual and group coaching, in-person and via phone, and leads corporate wellness workshops, teleseminars, in-home consultations, shopping tours of natural foods stores and unplugged weekend retreats.
