Bloom360 Learning Community Secures Location in East Troy
Bloom360 Learning Community will open its new school this August at the historic Stone School property in East Troy. Located minutes from I-43 near the Mukwonago exit, the school looks forward to serving families and children throughout southeast Wisconsin, ages 5 through adolescence, with neuro-diverse needs such as ADD/ADHD, autism, dyslexia and other learning differences. A community celebration and ribbon cutting is planned from 5 to 7 p.m., September 14.
The East Troy site offers optimal space for the school’s project-based learning approach that will include a woodshop, sensory gym, art center and numerous individual and small group instruction areas. They also plan to maintain the historic one-room schoolhouse building for larger gatherings. The serene setting is nestled on approximately four acres next to local farms and open land.
“This kind of approach to education is needed in Wisconsin,” says Laura Rauman, president and founder of Bloom360. “Approximately 20 percent of all school-aged children have learning challenges that may prevent them from reaching their full potential in a traditional school setting. Bloom360 Learning Community will support and nurture learners to become the best version of themselves.”
Location: N8921 Stone School Rd., East Troy. For more information or to learn about educator and therapist employment opportunities, visit Bloom360.org.Edit ModuleShow Tags
