Eat Breathe Thrive (EBT)— a nonprofit dedicated to aid in the recovery of individuals struggling with eating disorders, disoriented eating and negative body image—will begin a series of workshops designed to integrate yoga, community-building exercises, mindfulness meditation and service work. The series begins at 6:30 p.m., May 8, and continues every Friday for six weeks at Santosha Fitness and yoga studio, in Delafield.
EBT works in conjunction with the Give Back Yoga Foundation and pairs qualified yoga teachers with skilled group facilitators. Registered Yoga Teacher Jessica Popp, a graduate of Alignment Yoga, in Madison, and founder of HumanKind Yoga, LLC, will lead the series, along with co-facilitator Jessica Schwalenberg.
