Local, Sustainable Landscape Consortium Hosts Monthly Potluck
The Sustainable Landscape Consortium hosts a monthly potluck lunch for anyone interested in environmentally responsible landscaping and related services. Educators, contractors, urban farmers and others are invited to the relaxed networking event. The group’s next meeting runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 25, at the Consortium’s office, in Milwaukee.
“We need to be mindful that even during the busiest parts of the season, we need to connect, reflect and collaborate,” says eventorganizer Bradley Blaeser, president of The Green Team of Wisconsin. “February and March saw a great turnout as the attendees from the Milwaukee Area Technical College School of Horticulture, along with several independent businesses and interested collaborators, shared a dish and some sentiments about the rapidly approaching season and ways we can all work together more mindfully and efficiently.”
